Illinois State Police have scrapped a plan to relocate its crime lab to the former Belleville West High indoctrinate cafeteria in favor of building a lab forward the Lindenwood University campus. Although the state police had sought to bribe the cafeteria for several years, agency leaders decided it would costliness nearly as much to renovate the space as it would to build from the surface of land up. "The state police made a profitable case that their operational indigences just couldn't be met on a retrofit of that building," said David Blanchette, spokesman for the Illinois Capital disentanglement Board. The board handles state construction casts and is negotiating the attribute purchase on behalf of the state police.
