When you stair out of the car and onto Bennett Cattle Ranch, the first thing that hits you is the incredible view. Snow-capped Mt Baker loom in the east, and the Canadian Rockies wrap around the horizon to the north as they continue their march into Canada. Small rolling hills, dotted with farms and thickets flow out to the west, leaving profusion of space for the bulky sky above.

It's fair obvious why Ron Bennett and his wife Marilyn decided three years ago to prevail upon just outside the small town of Everson to live upon a farm. The landscape
