Up until today, the sum and substance total of my knowledge of golf I learned from a boxer dog named Bella. Apparently, the insides of an older golf balls are filled with tightly detriment rubber bands. When one perforates it with something sharp -- say, a canine incisor -- rubber bands start shooting revealed all over the place. Oh the drollery you can have chasing a ball that spins around and around while spewing on the outside rubber streamers!
