A representative from the federal Dept of Homeland Security has confirmed that downtown developer and Canadian citizen Rick Westerop, who is commonly out of the country, has been denied reentry into the United States fit to past criminal convictions in Canada.

"Under existing statutes this individual is forever inadmissible into the United States," said Edwin Martinez, assistant district director for inspection with the Seattle Customs and Border Protection office, a division of the Dept of Homeland Security.
