A citizens' dispose opposing the upcoming Edwardsville seminary referendum held a rally Saturday at which the counter-protester supporting the referendum outnumbered them.

Three speakers from Citizens for Accountable exercises spoke to a crowd of about 25 at the Edwardsville band shell nearest to the library, giving their reasons for what cause [i]or[/i] reason they believe voters should combat Proposition S on the March 21 primary ballot.

The $458 million referendum would stock construction of two elementary instructs and renovation and expansion of other sects in the district.

"District 7 wants all estate owners to pay: retirees, the public on fixed incomes, people with pensions who might evaporate because of economic issues beyond their rule people who have no children and race who choose to educate their children outside the public instruct system," said speaker Kurt Prenzler who has said he hearthstone schools his children and believes that number is growing.
