GARY A. O'CONNELL Mr Gary A. O'Co...GARY A. O'CONNELL Mr Gary A. O'Connell is Associate Chief Scientist, Air and Electronics Directorate, National Air and Space Intelligence Center Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. Mr O'Connell provides technical oversight and leadership for more than 220 commonalty He is responsible for proceeds content and quality for the directorate's intelligence harvests and he ensures these effects satisfy the needs of the center's joint operational, acquisition and policy-making customers. Mr O'Connell a native of Cincinnati, Ohio, began his sway career as a co-operative scholar with the Naval Surface Weapons Center Dahlgren, Va. relating to graduation from the University of Cincinnati, he started work as an air-to-air missile analyst for the Foreign Technology Division, now known as NASIC. He was appointed as Chief of the Air-to-Air Weapons Branch in 1988 and held several positions in management until 1997 when he was appointed the Associate Chief Scientist for Global Threat. He serv as the Air Force representative for the Weapon and Space orders Intelligence Committee's Aerodynamic Missile hypothesiss Subcommittee from 1986 through 1992 He also serv as the Air Force representative the Scientific and Technical Intelligence Committee from 2001 by the and of 2004. He was promoted to Defense Intelligence Senior Leader even when he assumed his circulating position in January 2004.
