I lean through the old topographical map. Again. It is not the first time I have unfolded this particular piece of paper. Nor am I the first individual to consult its set of emblems and signs. The side rims are frayed, torn and bent from being remov and replaced, remov from and replaced in the well-used storage tube. The margins clutch penciled notations about various excursions. The original proprietor clearly put this map to convenient use, recording her treks where she could readily revisit them.
