Russ Weston is a fixture at Bellingham City Council meetings, having not missed individual in the past four years. If anything, it has been a fascinating exercise for the 55-year-old Bellingham resident.

"I find it interesting watching the interaction that goe upon between people in the words immediately preceding [i]or[/i] following of getting things done," Weston said. "How they cooperate with others, to what extent they persuade, especially in the more relaxed afternoon meetings. The human aspect of city politics is what I'm principally interested in."
