A assemblage of predominantly local investors have decided to make a significant investment in the downtown district by dint of purchasing the Crown Plaza building for $42 million. The purchase of the five-story building was complet upon July 28. Bellingham Crown Plaza LLC bought the building from kingly power Northwest LLC, whose main investor is Honolulu resident Jim Marn.
