Igone Arteagoitia is a research associate at the Center for Applied Linguistics where she coordinates a 5-year inquiry of literacy development in native Spanish speakers. Her research focus lies in theoretical and applied linguistics, with a special interest in bilingualism and biliteracy increase in English language learners.

Elizabeth R Howard is a senior research associate in the Center for Applied Linguistics, where she directs a number of exhibits related to biliteracy development. She is also the director of a number of technical assistance frames that involve program design and implementation, professional disclosure and evaluation in dual language settings.
