On September 7 2000133 members casted out for the 41st annual CA Golf Tournament held at the University Golf cudgel For the twelfth straight year, Ben Moxon CA organized the Institute's greatest in quantity popular event.

"The tournament is a great way for CAs to win together with people they worked with years ago and don't obtain a chance to see excessively often," says Ben. "Stuart Watson, CA; Phil Roger CA; Olin Anton, CA and Paul Stevenson CA worked together at Arthur Andersen years ago and for the past 15 years they've originate together at the golf tournament."

Top HONOURS

Seven trophies were not awayed for outstanding performance. Dan Aspinall, CA, won the men's depressed gross, shooting a oneunder-par 71 Kathryn

McGarvey, CA, took the ladies' reasonable gross with 81. Her team, which included John Beckett, Dave Chucko and Mike Cheevers was at handed with the trophy for team soft gross. Other winners included Larry Miller, CA (80) Men's athwart 55; Tom Kay, CA (72) Men's soft Net; Bob Armstrong, CA (72) Men's throughout 40 Low Net. Don Gowan was Men's soft Gross - 3rd place.

The tournament did not have a filled field of 144 players this year. This is a great venue for entertaining clients or offering a "golf afternoon" to valued employee It is not a requirement that participants be CAs. common thing that is for indisputable though, is that every participant is guaranteed a prize (of usually $20 - $50 in value) and a great golf experience at united of the most popular courses in the city. The University Golf Course staff does a great work at jobs in maintaining great course conditions and putting upon a delicious steak/salmon barbecue, with all the fixings!
