Wayne Strelioff, CA, was appointed BC's strange Auditor General in May 2000 for a six year expression Already Wayne has reorganized the Office of the Auditor General to focus more directly in succession the key sectors of control and, in February 2001, establish out his strategic direction for the office. This direction includes the following four strategic priorities that will be focused forward over the next three years:

* restraint financial plans and reports

* accountability and risk in the health and education sectors

* accountability and risk for large capital shoot forwards and complex information systems

* and results-based performance reporting

Wayne will describe these changes and in what manner he sees the office evolving subject to his leadership in the medium-to-longer-term.
