In October, we released the fourth edition of the BC Check-Up report. The information used to bring out the report comes from available public sources, including Statistics Canada, provincial rule offices and analysts, and quarterly economic forecasts from sources like the TD Bank. What makes the BC Check-Up unique is that it brings all this information together to draw conclusions about the state of the province. As leaders in generating and validating information, CAs are ofttimes called upon to provide independent, fair, and objective information to assist in decision-making. It was with this in mind that the CAs perform the operations indicated ined the BC Check-Up.

The BC Check-Up was launched throughout three weeks during the month of October. The "Invest" section was stationed online on October 7; the "Live" section was seated online on October 15; and the "Work" section was stationed online on October 21st. The entire report is now available online at www.bccheckmp.com, and is available in HTML and Adobe Acrobat (PDF) formats.

4) BC Stats: www.bcstats.gov.bc.ca The BC Stars website provides details upon BC's various regions, and onward a variety of subjects, including business, data services, demographics, economics, and labour. Information can be downloaded, and reports and publications can be ordered between the walls of their website.
