Aside from offering an opportunity to socialize, the dinner gave us a chance to provide more or less of our long-time members with an update onward provincial and national activities in the profession. It also gave us a chance to elicit elucidations and suggestions from members who've "been there." Among the past presidents in attendance was Gerald E (Pat) Dunn FCA, (now 92 years of age) who serv as our president in 1953/54 Personally, I place it really interesting to hear that the issues we find important today were also issues of concern-albeit in a slightly different guise-in previous years. Certainly for me it was an enjoyable and enlightening evening. Hear what he has to say about the matters of disquiet to us all in these times of intense scrutiny, and take this opportunity to ask him questions about CICA activities.
