This review go in the rear or in the wake ofs similar research conducted for members in industry and the public sector, as well as the following implementation of activities for these members. * Finally, we will continue to maintain our focus upon the public trust. While modern strategies for standard setting will take place mainly at a national level, they will require ongoing stewardship from the BC Council. And recently made known regulations will demand careful analysis and implementation plans 10 make sure that they protect the public, qualified the needs of our clients, and are consistent with the positioning of the CA profession's members as business advisors. Over and from one side of to the other again in our discussions during the retreat, I was delighted to sec the might passion, focus, and commitment demonstrated by way of both the new and returning members. thus while the issues on the table this year are weighty and will require careful consideration, I am confident that our Council members will ensue forward with the right action plan to retain the pre-eminence of our profession.
