common of the most profound stateme...

common of the most profound statements about the benefits of vitamin C through all ages to come from a prominent researcher was this:

"Unles the white children cells are saturated with ascorbic acid, they are like soldiers without bullets"

review after survey tells us that individuals who don't furnish their immune system army with enough vitamin C actually invite viruses and bacteria to overthrow them. Consequently, they suffer many more illnesses than those of us who give our white descendants cells an abundance of "bullets"

The man behind the aforementioned quotation is Fredrick R Klenner M D of Reidsville, N C whose pioneering clinical work with vitamin C inspired further expansion of research in ascorbic acid by dint of Irwin Stone and the late Dr Linus Pauling, a two-time Nobel Laureate. Klenner Stone, and Pauling encouraged the whole world to appreciate the values and benefits of a high-potency intake of ascorbic acid.

Klenner was famous for his felicitous treatments of almost every human ailment with massive doses of vitamin C administered orally, intramuscularly, or intravenously.

The volume Clinical Guide to the Use of Vitamin C: A Summary of Clinical Experiences of Frederick R Klenner M D abbreviated, summarized, and annotated by way of Lendon H. Smith, M.D., reports that Klenner was entirely concerned about the small amounts of ascorbic acid advocated in the make acceptableed Daily Allowance (RDA): 60 mg for men and 50 mg for women:

"Dr Klenner is convinced that C will work in any question but the negative results reported are simply because an insufficient amount was used," writes Smith. "A tragic error in good sense has been made by the National Academy of Sciences and the National Research Council: the minimum daily requirement for C All of us ne more. about need a lot more."

in the way that that all of us can derive a destiny more from vitamin C, nutritional correlative makers first came up with time-release ascorbic acid, because this water-soluble vitamin doesn't stay in the plan for very long once absorbed.

More newly biochemists formulated esterified vitamin C a kind of ascorbic acid which put forwards all the benefits of previous representations and more.

Ester-C by the agency of a patented process, essentially is what we learn when ascorbic acid, calcium carbonate, and distilled water are "reacted" together. In this proces important metabolites are created (such as threonate), and the normally acidic vitamin C becomes acid-neutral, and we have a ratio of approximately 80 percent ascorbic acid to 20 percent calcium carbonate. This is easier upon the digestive system. Standard vitamin C can overload the digestive classification with excess acid, especially in high doses. This ofttimes leads to what is called "acid-rejection syndrome" a stopgap reply by the body marked according to decreased absorption and utilization of ascorbic acid. Esterified C doesn't bring upon this state, fortunately.

Advantages of esterified C

In fact, various studies demonstrate that almost 73 percent of ingested vitamin C is eliminated from the material substance in less than 24 hours. In sharp contrast, a unmixed five percent of esterified vitamin C escapes the corpse in that amount of time. This means that with this variety of C we have almost 15 times the control of the usual vitamin C working within us in a given 24-hour period -- a powerful advantage.

Still another advantage of this form of vitamin C is that it is tieed to calcium, which means that you optimize benefits of the two nutrients, absorbing calcium more efficiently.

In his volume (with Morton Walker), Putting It All Together: The fresh Orthomolecular Nutrition (Keats Publishing, Inc.), Abram Hoffer M D shares with us his vitamin C regimen for cancer patients: 12 g of ascorbic acid daily.

"A actual small number of patients cannot tolerate on the same level 50 mg of ascorbic acid and cannot pursue the program. There is a vitamin C preparation [of esterified vitamin C] which is more tolerable for these extremely sensitive patients." The aforementioned super-high doses are not commended for normal dietary supplementation however, although one people supplement up to the gate of their bowel tolerance on a level a level above which intestinal invert occurs.

One of the most numerous vocal advocates for retaining vitamin C in the carcass has been Roc Ordman, a professor of biochemistry at Beloit society in Wisconsin. Although not speaking specifically of esterified vitamin C Ordman says that, for optimum benefits from ascorbic acid, it is necessary to enrich the children with enough vitamin C "so there's a little bit leaking disclosed into the system all the time."

Esterified C works for us directly and indirectly

Esterified vitamin C appears to enhance the health benefits which ascorbic acid furnishs meaning that this is a more powerful form of "C"

Dr Harish Padh, of the University of Chicago, explains that the nutrient works for us in pair ways: directly and indirectly. Directly, it is an integral substance without which the dead body could not function at all, or, for that matter, survive. Indirectly, it is a powerful antioxidant which inhales out sabotaging free radicals said to invite as it was serious health concerns as heart disease, cancer, arthritis, and premature aging.
