The short-term vitamin E appendixs provided a significant level of DNA protection in the exercisers. However, the long-term and high-dose of vitamin E (i.e., 1200 mg for 14 days) showed the strongest protective efficiency against DNA damage after exhaustive exercise. Significant increases in line levels of vitamin E mirror the effectiveness of this flush of supplementation.
