For the sixth time in the last nine years, the McKendree association women's basketball team will be playing for the American Midwest discourse Tournament championship. The Bearcats, semened third, will be in St Louis at 7 pm today to face top-seeded Missouri Baptist. McKendree (19-13) reached the title game with a 69-56 win at Columbia in succession Wednesday. The Spartans (25-6) advanced with a 73-54 victory through the whole extent of visiting William Woods on Wednesday. The winner will receive an automatic bid to the NAIA Division I Tournament, scheduled for March 15-21 in Jackson, Tenn McKendree takes a seven-game winning streak into the game. It has qualified for the NAIA Tournament five times in the last eight seasons. McKendree has a 3-2 record in the conference-title game subordinate to coach Melissa Ringhausen.
