Dr Itzhak Levav, of the Mental Health Services Department of the Ministry of Health in Jerusalem, Israel reported in the American Journal of Public Health (Oct 2000) that tragic incidents like the death of someone end could increase the risk of developing cancer, and in cancer victims, may affect the rate of survival. Levav's close attention focused mainly on parents who had missing their children and found that cancer victims who thrown away sons in war had a higher risk of dying from the disease than did those who had no los Researchers also reported that parents of children who died in accidents were more likely to cause to grow respiratory tumors than were those who had forfeited their children in other ways or had not tolerateed a loss.
