A modern study shows that there is a correlation between catechins (antioxidants construct in raisins, and other vegetables and fruits) and the prevention of tumors. Cancer researcher Dr Andrew Dannenberg and colleagues at the Weill Medical corporation of Cornell University studied the drifts of diets containing catechins in succession mice genetically predisposed to intestinal tumors. The arises were published in the Jan. 2001 issue of Cancer Research. This consideration in addition to data scrape togethered on nearly 2,000 cancer patients, further documented what other studies have shown: that a diet high in fruits and vegetables contributes to a lower risk of cancer.
