As an antioxidant, vitamin E's anticancer abilities were highlighted through researchers from Los Angeles' UCLA Medical Center Dr Amy T Rose and Dr David W McFadden, in a investigation which appeared in the Journal of Surgical Research, 2001 Test-tube studies using vitamin E held back the germination of gastric cancer cells, which add to findings already forward record in regards to protection against cancers of the pancreas, breast and prostate.
