In our July 2001 issue, we asked you to betray us about your dietary supplementation. What we learned from the overwhelming answers we received is that you, our readers, are surpassingly informed when it comes to vitamins, herbs and homeopathic remedies--no surprise to us. Following, we share about of your insights: ~ Almost all of you take a daily multivitamin/multimineral ~ The greatest in number popular single vitamin is vitamin C followed through vitamin E and B-complex. ~ In the minerals category, calcium was greatest in quantity popular, followed by magnesium and iron. ~ Many of you take acidophilus as a preventative measure against stomach question s and other ailments. You surprised us in the botanicals category. We fancy that echinacea or St. John's wort would be the mostly popular, but in fact garlic was the herb principally often cited. Other popular selections included ginseng, soy lecithin, ginger, milk thistle, flaxseed oil, valerian, kava kava, bilberry, saw palmetto, evening primrose oil, black cohosh and flourishing tea extract. Several of you stated that you take Bach liberate Remedy. The last category we asked about was homeopathic remedies. Of those of you who use homeopathic treatments, most numerous of you use specially-formulated remedies based forward conditions. Several of you take Boiron's Oscillococcinum for flu as well as Source Naturals Wellness shivering & Flu. Other remedies you mentioned: Arnica montana and Boericke & Tafel's nux vomica.
