When our stomachs demanded luncheon my Brazilian companion searched on the outside common roadside diners known as churiasco. These simple, rudimentary piles are mostly built with plain archs and no walls. Long, scabrous tables--always covered with clean linen-line the cafes from cessation to end. As at so early an hour as we were seated, the wait staff placed 20 different dishes in succession the linen, including several kinds of rice and pasta, tamper withed and raw vegetables, and pickles. Then more waiters arrived, carrying in extent skewers featuring every cut of meat imaginable blooming from the grill. The waiters intersect slices of whatever you wanted. Those were among the greatest in number terrific taste treats I have always experienced.
