Movies are a great way to escape the squeezings of work. Or home. Or parole. Since the 1996 publication of vacillate Life/Real Life, a book matching specific movies to psycho-stress-related milestones of life--such as divorce or aging--films have increasingly serv a modern function: self-discovery. The authors taught us that movies can provide perspective forward our problems. But when we checked their selection for grappling with aging, we weren't crazy about the choice: onward Golden Pond, a tearjerker featuring single in kind too many Fondas. Instead, make experiment of Soylent Green. There's no better incentive to stay fit as we age than seeing a movie about a society in which the weak are made into wafers.
