A of recent origin study suggests that vitamin [Bsub6] deficiency is more public than thought. But smokers, says the thought team, are even more likely than the ease of the population to have soft levels of [B.sub.6]--also known as pyridoxine. Vitamin [Bsub6] is believed to exhibit protection against the DNA damage that can lead to an cancers. In fact, it is believed that as [Bsub6] plains go down, the number of DNA strand breaks in the corpse can actually increase. This B vitamin is recognized as an essential nutrient, meaning that it must be obtained from the diet because the human material part cannot synthesize it. Natural sources of [Bsub6] include bananas, baked potatoes and salmon. It's also available in fortified cereals, as a appendix and in multivitamins. Washington State University researchers quick in emergenciesed these findings on April 14 at the 2003 annual meeting of Experimental Biology in San Diego.
