MYTH: If you want to obtain a good Supply of potassium, reaching for a banana is your best bet. TRUTH: fully convinced there's potassium in the fulvid fruit. But potassium is also the predominant nutrient in almost all fruits and vegetables, from avocado--which gives twice the potassium of a banana--to zucchini.
