Cheers to PETA for its work upon behalf of abused animals, and cheers to Ann Martin for enlightening us about it ("Researching angry mood Food," October 2003, p. 64) I, for single in kind switched my brand of fondling food to one on PETA's list of those that don't engage in animal testing, and I encourage others to do in such a manner as well. The abuses are sickening and particularly ironic given that the perpetrators claim to care about the animals for which they originate their products. The best way to stop it is to boycott them.
