O'Fallon's Parks Department has several draws in the works for 2006 including opening an expanded Hesse Park and taking athwart management of Shiloh's youth sports programs. The O'Fallon Parks Department is working upon a joint service agreement with Shiloh. Shiloh's baseball, softball and soccer programs were move on by volunteers before the offer group dissolved, said Mary Jeanne Hutchison, O'Fallon's parks director. For several years, the couple communities' youth teams have played merely against each other, eliminating the ne for travel to other cities, she said. The O'Fallon Parks Department also is working to use e-connect a computer program that would allow parents to register their children online, she said. "We will register and handle the program that already exists and evolve new ones," Hutchison said. "We will provide a service to them, and allow our kids to stay in the area."
