The St Louis Rams' head coaching search has been narrowed to three candidates, with Miami Dolphins offensive coordinator Scott Linehan being the apparent frontrunner for the piece of work

The other sum of two units finalists are Chicago Bears defensive coordinator Ron Rivera and San Diego Chargers offensive coordinator Cam Cameron.

Rams President John Shaw, along with Jay Zygmynt, the Rams' president of football operations, will be conducting next to the first interviews with the three finalists this week. They interviewed Cameron upon Monday, with Linehan scheduled for today.

That means the Rams could be announcing the successor to Mike Martz, who was fired Jan. 2 after six seasons as the Rams' head coach, by the agency of the end of this week.

Linehan, 41 is considered somewhat of a rising star in NFL circles.

The Dolphins gave him a three-year, $255 million contract to be their offensive coordinator last year.

In common season under Linehan, the Dolphins' offense
