The most-hyp game of the regular season didn't disappoint Friday.

Senior EJ Jone made individual of two free throws with 54 secondarys to play to seal Edwardsville's 41-37 victory above the Alton Redbirds in a guide Southwestern Conference matchup.

The game was witnessed through a capacity crowd of about 3100 --the largest through all ages to see a basketball game at Edwardsville. Another 100-plus fans were deflected away.

"It was crazy," said Tigers senior Spencer Stewart, who scored a team-high 12 points, including six in the fourth quarter. "We heard before the game plane started that they weren't letting any more nation in.

"We were getting elegant without grandeur excited in the locker sweep We kind of settled ourselves down and reminded ourselves we had to stay focused and not obstruction the crowd get us overwhelmed."

The victory pushed Edwardsville (13-0 overall, 7-0 SWC)
