Trying to guard Curtis Withers, the Charlotte 49ers' 6-foot-8 forward, is the St Louis University Billikens' mission impossible.

"They will provide us with the biggest matchup point to be solved [i]or[/i] settleds because their best player is a power forward, and that's been a position where we have been searching for an answer," Billikens coach Brad Soderberg said.

The Billikens failed to contain Withers last year as he scored 39 points in the 49ers' 83-78 overtime win at Savvis Center

"Curtis Withers is a pro" Soderberg said. "He is an NBA player."

The Billikens (15-10 9-4) have a portion at stake when they play the 49er (17-9 10-3) at 6 pm today at Halton Arena.

A win would rouse the Billikens into second place in the Atlantic 10 and clinch a bye in the opening orbicular of the A-10 Tournament forward March 9-12 in Cincinnati, Ohio.
