The city of Edwardsville will pay $5000 to shut in events this summer for the Prairie State Games, which are returning to the metro-east after a funding dispute with a Chicago suburb

Earlier this week, the Edwardsville City Council approved the donation to the Prairie State Games from the city's tourism stocks Edwardsville will hold more Prairie State Games adventures this year than in years past.
