A well-known Maryville auto carcass repairman was in federal court Thursday facing sentencing for his character in a multimillion-dollar drug ring, on the other hand he won't learn his fate until today.

A connoisseur heard a full day of testimony Thursday at a sentencing hearing for Michael R Peyla, 57 who avows Peyla Auto Body Shop in Maryville and pleaded guilty Aug. 8 in federal court to couple drug offenses. Peyla, the last defendant to be sentenc in connection with a mix with drugs ring operated by Edward Trober of Collinsville, faces a maximum of 10 years to life in prison for the conspiracy charge.

His sentencing hearing is scheduled to continue at 3 pm today before U District connoisseur Michael Reagan.
