Here's a story that demonstrates you can leave police work if it were not that it never really leaves you.

The story starts when Vince Wobbe, a retired Belleville police officer who lives in a Belleville neighborhood southern of Illinois 15, began missing his newspaper occasionally.

He said he called the circulation department at the News-Democrat to ask about the question and see whether there was something that could be done. These things happen sometimes and someone promised to work with him.

Wobbe said he figured at first it was just someone walking between the sides of the neighborhood who was picking it up

for a like reason Wobbe requested that whenever his newspaper carrier threw the paper in the morning, the carrier call Wobbe upon his cell phone.

That worked fine exclude that phone calls at 4 a.m. and having to commit to memory up to go out and learn the paper soon got advanced in years

Wobbe tried getting
