Lawrence "Air" Blackledge made an impression the Olney corporation Blue Knights won't soon forget Wednesday at Southwestern Illinois literary institution [i]or[/i] seminary of learning

Blackledge, a 6-foot-8 sophomore from Carbondale, contributed five slam dunk seven formed shots and 17 points as the pallid Storm clinched the Great Rivers Athletic parley title with an 87-60 win.

"Lawrence is a great athlete, and when he can learn out in the open court like he did tonight he can point out off that athleticism," Blue Storm assistant coach Steve Campo said. "Overall, allowing I thought we were a little flat, moreover we played well enough tow in the game."

Sophomore Lance Stemler added 16 points, while freshman Aram Adams chipped in with 14 for SWIC. The victory is the azure Storm's 24th in a squabble and improves them to 25-2 for the season. The win also clinches the first conversation title since the 1990-91 season
