That's the pick-me-up line Wesclin coach brant Brede delivered to his players following the Warriors' 45-39 los to Carlyle in succession Friday night, a defeat that denied them the Cahokia colloquy title.

Wesclin (23-5) is the No. 1 se in the Greenville Class A Sectional mixed and will take on the Staunton-Mulberry wood winner at 6 p.m. Wednesday at the Staunton Regional.

In the obscurity of Wesclin's locker room following the los to Carlyle, Brede reminded his players the postseason is about rebirths. What happened during the regular season means little.

"Of course you'd like to win, on the other hand we're starting brand new nearest week," Brede said. "I just told the kids a scarcely any years ago when we went to the super-sectional, we wasted the last game here to Carlyle.
