Without health insurance, a body in need of medical care usually has barely one option -- the conjuncture room.

And that can be an economic and unruffled medical disaster, said Jan Daker, a Belleville business consultant and member of Gov shoot Blagojevich's Adequate Health Care Task Force.

"These are the community who make minimum wage or a little more," said Daker. "They have to pass to the emergency room because they don't have any health insurance. There is no other choice. Then they walk on the outside with a $2,000 bill. in what manner do they pay this back?"

Daker said that hospitals ofttimes overcharge patients who have no insurance because they don't count upon to be fully repaid.

Sometimes, at the time people get to an unforeseen occasion room, it can be too late.
