Collinsville Middle educate will participate in the Tech 2006 technology demonstration at the state capitol onward Feb. 16. Eighth-graders Lindsey Schobert and Kortney Walden will join teacher Kimberly Walters in demonstrating the use of computer textbook software and inter-write boards in mathematics education to members of the public and the state legislature in the Capitol Building Rotunda. The issue is intended to showcase for lawmakers and the public the central character of technology in schools. Tech 2006 is a nonprofit initiative supported in part by the agency of Apple Computers, Dell, Learning.com, Riverdeep, Comcast and Cisco methods U.S. Rep.
